2020 Zone Meetings (Board Elections)

Eastern Maine Electric Co-op's Board of Directors is elected from within the communities EMEC serves.. Directors are elected for three-year terms at Zone Meetings held in each of the Co-op's eleven zones.  Four elections are scheduled to take place this year.

 

NOTE: Due to COVID-19, the dates of the meetings have been pushed back from June to July and August.. At least 35 days before each election, a listed of nominated candidates is mailed to each member in the zone. A meeting notice is mailed a week before the election, giving the location, as well as blank proxy and corporate credential forms.
