Two $500 Student Scholarships Available via NEPPA

As residents of Eastern Maine Electric Co-op’s delivery territory, students pursuing higher education are eligible to apply for one of the two $500 scholarships from the NEPPA Student Scholarship Fund. Students must be enrolled or enrolling for the 2022/2023 school year, but eligibility is regardless of academic status, whether the student is just graduating from high school, currently enrolled in college, enrolling in college for the fist time, or re-enrolling after a period of time away.

University/Trade School Students-

One Scholarship directed at students currently enrolled in college or trade school program during 2022/2023 program year.

Graduating High Schools Seniors:

One Scholarship directed at students who are seniors in high school during the 2022/2023 school year. Recipients should be enrolling in college or trade school program upon HS graduation

What is NEPPA (Northeast Public Power Association)?

NEPPA is a private, non-profit trade association, founded in 1965 to represent and serve consumer-owned utilities (electric co-ops and municipal utilities) of New England. Eastern Maine Electric Co-op is a NEPPA member.

Student Scholarship Fund

The NEPPA Student Scholarship Program provides scholarships to Northeast Public Power Association residents pursuing a higher education. The Student Scholarship is available to students regardless of their academic status, whether just graduating from high school, currently enrolled in college, enrolling in college for the first time, or re-enrolling after a period of time out of college.
